Angkor Travel Tips is simply the easiest to use website to discover Angkor!

  • Detailed description of the ruins of Angkor with suggested walking route
  • Free self-guided tours to explore Angkor monuments
  • Welcome to Angkor Travel Tips! This website is created to provide tourists and visitors with useful as well as essential information for planning a trip to Angkor. Since the political climate in Cambodia improved over the years, the ruins of Angkor have rapidly become one of the biggest travel destinations in Southeast Asia. The area which we called Angkor is dense with Khmer ruins which are inscribed as a Unesco World Heritage Site. Through Angkor Travel Tips, you are guided to each of the temple and monument, and provided with clear explanation of its history, layout, whereabouts and access. You also find useful tips for finding accommodation and transport in Angkor, chiefly at Siem Reap, the major town that serves as the gateway to the ruins.

I created Angkor Travel Tips so that I can share with you all the useful tips about Angkor that I have assembled over the years. Below please find a list of topics about Angkor. This website is still very much a work in progress. I am still working on completing many of the pages I have planned. Once they are ready, I will link them to this page. In the meantime, I seek your patience as I get them ready. Do check back regularly for new installments. To receive updates from me, please subscribe to my Angkor RSS Feed or join my Yahoo Forum, where you can also interact with fellow travel enthusiasts.
