Prasat Bei, which means "three towers" is a small Angkor ruin, similar to Prasat Kravan, but has only three towers. On the middle tower is a linga. The two side towers are severely ruined, and reaches only to the doorway of the central tower. In fact the northern tower (the one on the right) was never completed. They stand on a laterite podium which is 24 meter long by 9.6 meter wide.

I explored Prasat Bei after visiting Baksei Chamkrong. We are just outside the causeway that leads to the south gopura of Angkor Thom.

How to reach Prasat Bei

Prasat Bei is located between Baksei Chamkrong and the moat of Angkor Thom, about 300m west of the road that leads to the south gopura of Angkor Thom, and 175m from Thma Bay Kaek. Just before the causeway with the rows of gods and demons, turn left on the side path, passing the heaps of stone which is Thma Bay Kaek, and you will arrive at Prasat Bei in a short while.
