Vat Preah Ngok
Vat Preah Ngok is a Buddhist chapel to the northwest of Bayon. There is a likelihood that you don't even notice it unless you explore the grounds around Bayon closely.

Vat Preah Ngok has a seated Buddha image, about 5 meters tall, sheltered by a pavilion with a pointed roof. The pavilion appears of modern Khmer design though the Buddha is said to date from Angkorian time. It sits on a sandstone platform with short flights of steps leading to it.
The Buddha of Vat Preah Ngok is looked after by the villagers of Angkor Krau village. The monks from Angkor Krau, Trapeng Seh and Kok Beng villages share in looking after the Buddhist chapels in the area.
Getting there
